Great iPhone
I finished recording the Great iPhone Development video series for O’Reilly this past Saturday, so now I’m impatiently waiting for the full series to make it through the production pipeline. The idea behind GID was to take a brand-new Mac computer and walk through the entire development process, from joining the Apple iPhone Developer Program all the way to submitting your first application to the Apple App Store.
In the series, I really tried not to gloss over any of the ugly parts of the iPhone development process. I show common pitfalls, errors, and the ins-and-outs of dealing with the Apple bureaucracy. The source code for the application I developed (the Great Teleprompter app) is available through GitHub, so feel free to check it out.
